You will need:
plasticine and an old tea strainer or sieve 
OR
playdough and a tea strainer, sieve, slotted spoon or colander 

a sheet of white paper
a pen or pencil

Note: if you are using a strainer or sieve that you want to use again in the kitchen it is best to use playdough because it is easier to wash off.

What to do:
If you are using plasticine warm it in your hands and squeeze it until it is soft.

Try pushing the plasticine or playdough through a strainer or sieve to see what happens.

Draw a head on a piece of paper and use your plasticine or playdough to make hair or a beard in different ways. Try making short, long and curly hair.

Try cutting pictures of heads from old magazines or use a photo of yourself!
