You will need:
a pile of white paper (about the size of a memo pad or small envelope),
coloured pencils or pens to draw with

How to play:
Write the words ‘draw or describe’ on one side of each piece of paper. The game works best if you have twenty pieces of paper or more.

Under the words ‘draw or describe’ ask everybody to write one thing on each piece of paper which could be drawn or described using words.​

Choose some ideas from the list on this page or think of your own.

Put all of the pieces of paper in a box, bag or hat to make a lucky dip.

Ask everybody to pick one piece of paper out of the box and have a go at drawing or describing the item on the other side of the paper. 

Agree whether you are going to allow people to swap if they don’t like what they choose!
